Partner Event: Creating Housing Abundance
The AEI Housing Center invites you to a convening on Tuesday, May 7 at 8:30 a.m. in San Francisco to hear insights on using light-touch density (LTD), also known as middle housing, to craft solutions to America’s growing housing supply crisis. Bay Area Council Senior Vice President Matt Regan is a featured speaker.
The purpose will be to demonstrate how the AEI Housing Center’s vast trove of free data can be used to promote abundant and sustainable housing growth and make the case to localities throughout California that targeting LTD, walkable oriented development, and Live Local Urban Villages can increase local revenues, improve living standards, lower property tax rates, keep essential workers living in local housing they can afford, and minimize pushback from residents who are resistant to change.
