Starting in April 2021 and ending in May 2024, the Bay Area Council collected survey data from hundreds of employers throughout the region in partnership with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and EMC Research on plans for returning to offices and workplaces. The data has served a valuable purpose in informing how transit agencies and policymakers plan for services as large numbers of employees shifted to remote work during the Covid pandemic.
