Policy Committee Meetings

Committees meet approximately every two months. Meetings are substantive and often feature expert speakers followed by discussion among committee members. Committee members are critical in helping to shape the direction and policy agenda for each policy initiative.

Bay Area Impact Webinar Series

Accurate, timely information is among the key weapons in our response to the multiple crises we’re experiencing: the COVID-19 pandemic, the ongoing fight against racial injustice, and the looming economic recession. The Bay Area Council’s series of webinars feature top experts providing information, insights and guidance on a range of topics from public health, to federal and local policy, to business continuity.

Roundtables

When visiting the Bay Area, foreign dignitaries and government leaders often request to meet with our membership to hear the business community’s thought s on specific legislation and initiatives.

These roundtables are held on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year and are typically open to all members.

Sacramento Day

Members will have the opportunity to discuss the issues most important to the region’s business community with constitutional officers, legislators, top administration officials, and the state’s foremost opinion leaders. The day of meetings typically culminates in a reception and dinner with the Bay Area Caucus. Advocacy meetings will focus on Bay Area Council’s priority policies.


Washington D.C. Advocacy Week
