Council Leads Strategic Delegation to Chart Clean Energy Future for AI Revolution
The Bay Area Council is planning an upcoming Business Delegation to Chicago, taking place September 25–30th, 2025. This high-level delegation will convene leaders from across industry, government, and technology to explore a critical question at the intersection of innovation and sustainability:
How can consistent, affordable, and reliable clean energy power the future of AI and business development?
Trip Overview:
September 25–26
The trip will begin with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, California’s last operating nuclear facility. Participants will gain insight into the role of nuclear power in delivering clean baseload energy and what that means for a future shaped by AI and increasing data demands.
September 27–30
The delegation will then travel to Chicago, where we will engage with energy experts, data center innovators, and senior government officials to examine how clean energy and artificial intelligence are converging to shape the next generation of business growth. Meetings and site visits will focus on the policies, partnerships, and technologies driving this transformation.
Why Attend:
- Gain firsthand insights into how clean energy solutions can support high-demand technologies like AI.
- Build relationships with fellow business leaders and public officials from California and Illinois.
- Help shape a regional and national strategy to ensure clean energy availability for innovation-intensive industries.
We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity to position the Bay Area at the forefront of the clean energy and AI revolution.
