Bay Area Council Stands with Israel in Wake of Barbaric Attack; Calls for Peace

The Bay Area Council this week issued the following statement in the wake of the violent attack by the terrorists group Hamas on Israel:

“The barbaric and deadly attack on Israel by the brutal terrorist organization Hamas has shocked, outraged and horrified the civilized world. The Bay Area Council unequivocally condemns this evil and unconscionable attack, which has left many thousands of innocent victims—mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, grandmothers and grandfathers–dead, wounded, or held hostage. The connections between the Bay Area and Israel run deep and we stand firmly in our support of Israel and all its people. There is no place in this world for antisemitism or any other form of hatred or violence. As the aftermath of this horrific atrocity continues to unfold, we pray for peace for all those affected and for an end to the violence.”
