The New York Times featured an interesting article this week regarding the United States’ pressure on China to raise the value of its currency.  The article discusses that although this plan may make American manufacturing companies more competitive as compared to Chinese companies, it may also increase costs for U.S. companies who rely on Chinese-made supplies.
