Visionary Google Plan with 7K Homes Gets Approval

We are thrilled to celebrate the momentous and unanimous approval of the Google North Bayshore Master Plan by the Mountain View City Council! This decision marks a significant milestone in the realization of a visionary project that will shape the future of our region. The approval underscores the diligent efforts of Google and its partners to create a sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant mixed-use neighborhood with 7,000 new homes and millions of dollars in public improvements expanding transit and active transportation infrastructure. The Bay Area Council was proud to support this transformative project, which will build 2 percent of our region’s entire housing need over the next 10 years.
