2015 COUNCIL POLL PRESENTED TO LEGISLATIVE STAFF IN SACRAMENTO

Today (Aug. 14) in Sacramento, the Bay Area Council provided an exclusive lunch briefing on its 2015 Poll to legislative staff, including committee consultants, legislative directors, and policy aides to the various members of the Bay Area’s Legislative delegation. The Bay Area Council Poll conducted by EMC Research of Oakland is the only survey of its kind that provides a comprehensive and incisive look at the attitudes of Bay Area residents on the most topical and critical issues affecting the region. It provides a ranking of the region’s top issues, asks residents what issues they think government leaders should be most focused on and what direction they see the region heading overall and from an economic perspective. The poll examined residents’ attitudes on a range of other key issues, including housing, transportation drought.
