New Report Examines Bay Area-Korea Economic Connections

The Bay Area Council Economic Institute last week (Aug. 28) unveiled a new report “Korea and the Bay Area: Innovation, Investment, and Korea’s Strategic Partnership with Silicon Valley.”
In a forum that followed the report release, Korean Consul General Jung-taek Lim, Peter Bae (Korea Innovation Center Silicon Valley), Raymond Liao (Samsung NEXT), Songyee Yoon (Principal Venture Partners), and Kasey Roh (Upstage AI) discussed the deep ties between our two economies across a range of technologies, including semiconductors and AI, and the opportunities for further growth.
