Molly Schaefer is an Accounting Manager for the Bay Area Council, responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer on the Finance Team.
Molly comes to the Council from the Alliance for Water Efficiency, a stakeholder-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water. Molly served as AWE’s Accounting Manager & Event Planner since 2007. Prior to that, she was an Accounting Consultant for the California Urban Water Conservation Council, the Texas Water Foundation, and the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center.
Molly has done volunteer work as an RBT licensed to practice ABA with children with autism and she has enjoyed being a private chef for the disabled and elderly community. She is also a former board member of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
Molly takes every possible opportunity to travel and enjoy other countries and their food. As a native of Michigan, her favorite things are sunshine, warmth, mountains, and the ocean. May she never need another windshield scraper again.
