Gabriella Limberis serves as the International Partnerships Associate at the Bay Area Council, where she supports the organization’s global programs and economic diplomacy efforts. Driving cross-border engagement between the Bay Area and key markets around the world, she helps coordinate inbound and outbound delegations, high-level convenings, and member engagement around international business and investment. With a focus on connecting executives, public-sector leaders, and research institutions, she cultivates partnerships that strengthen the region’s position as a global center for innovation and opportunity. She also supports the Global Business & Investment Committee, contributing to the Council’s broader work on economic competitiveness, foreign direct investment, and international policy engagement.
Previously, Gabriella was a licensed stockbroker and investment advisor at Charles Schwab, where she advised clients on portfolio strategy and investment decisions. Earlier in her career, she served as a congressional intern in the Office of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi. She holds a B.A. in Political Economy with a minor in Spanish from UC Berkeley, including a study abroad at the Universidad de Barcelona, and an M.A. in International Political Economy from King’s College London, where she focused on global financial governance, development economics, and the role of international institutions in shaping economic policy.
A Bay Area native, Gabriella loves trying new restaurants and getting outdoors on hikes and backpacking trips.
