Partner Event: The Future of Transportation in California
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) manages more than 50,000 miles of highway and freeway lanes across California, as well as inter-city rail services, permitting for more than 400 public-use airports and much more, making it an integral agency that plays a big role in determining the state’s transportation future. The Council is proud to partner with SPUR to co-present The Future of Transportation in California, a virtual discussion with Caltrans Director Toks Omishakin on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 5:00pm about what it will take to achieve long-term mobility, equity and climate goals to build a transportation system that works for all.
