The Bay Area Council invites you to join us for the 2026 Bay Area Silicon Valley Summit, presented by Sutter Health and generously hosted by Genentech, taking place on Friday, June 12. Doors open at 8 a.m. Program runs until 12:15 p.m.

This year’s Summit promises to be one of our most compelling yet, bringing together leading voices from across business, government, and innovation to explore the forces shaping the Bay Area’s future. We are especially honored to welcome renowned journalist Fareed Zakaria as our keynote speaker. With his global perspective and deep insight into economic and political trends, Zakaria will offer invaluable context for the challenges and opportunities facing our region.

The program will also feature conversations on:

• The Future of AI with high level leaders from Nvidia, Open AI and Google
• The future of healthcare and innovation with Sutter Health CEO Warner Thomas and Genentech CEO Ashley Magargee.

We’ll also hear from San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee on how they’re working to close the gap between policy promises and actual results.  And we’re adding a new feature this year with compelling Ted Talk-style presentations. As always, the Summit provides a premier platform for thought leadership, meaningful dialogue, and high-impact networking among the region’s most influential leaders.
