EXPLORING PARTNERSHIPS WITH ONE OF CHINA’S TOP UNIVERSITIES
Advancing the Bay Area Council’s lead policy priority to expand bi-lateral trade and investment with China, Bay Area Council President and CEO Jim Wunderman met with top leaders from Tsinghua University. Tsinghua is one of China’s oldest and most distinguished institutions of higher education that counts among its graduates President Xi Jinping and past President Hu Jintao. The discussion with Qian Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management, and Assistant Dean Di Ruipeng focused on partnership opportunities between the university and the Bay Area. Approximately 15,000 alums of Tsinghua live in the Bay Area. To engage in our China policy work, contact Policy Manager Genevieve Herreria.
