Help Create Real Estate Career Opportunities for Bay Area Youth

Posted In:

The Bay Area Council continues to work closely with Project Destined, a paid virtual internship in real estate for youth of color, to promote its mission here in the Bay Area. The program was recently featured in a news story by WUSA 9 for their work with Freddie Mac to mentor high school students in Washington, DC, about building wealth. Project Destined has already launched programs in seven other U.S. cities and regions and trained over 900 students, with 70 percent of scholars securing jobs, internships, or certifications.

The Council looks forward to bringing this successful program to the Bay Area and has already connected several corporate partners and local business leaders to the program. The Council strongly encourages any members interested in helping Bay Area youth of color find opportunities in the world of real estate to get involved. If you are interested in learning more and getting involved, please contact Senior Policy Manager Kelli Fallon.
