Former Bay Area Council Chair Lenny Mendonca recently revealed his battle with depression and anxiety in a powerful and poignant guest commentary for CalMatters that highlighted the continuing stigma surrounding mental health issues and the need for better mental health services. Mendonca, Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Co., most recently served as Chief Economic and Business Advisor to Gov. Newsom.
