Complimentary for All Bay Area Council Members!

As Governor Gavin Newsom and the State Legislature solidify budget items and deliberate over key bills related to housing and homelessness, transportation, wildfire and more, the Bay Area Council is ready to make our annual trip to Sacramento – but we will be virtual this year!

Join the Bay Area Council from June 16-18 and hear from legislative officials about their priorities over the coming months and opportunities for partnership on key issues. Participants will have the chance to speak directly with leaders during a series of 15-30 minute virtual meetings each day between 9am-12pm Pacific Time. We are working to schedule three to six meetings per day, allowing you to conduct regular business, but still actively participate. You will be free to pick and choose which you attend. Your participation will enable you to hear what’s happening in Sacramento and to make your voice heard during this critical time in the legislative session.

We’re honored to welcome the following speakers, with more to be announced soon:

  • Gov. Newsom Chief of Staff Jim Deboo
  • Secretary of Transportation David Kim
  • Controller Betty Yee
  • Treasurer Fiona Ma
  • Senator Nancy Skinner
  • Senator Scott Wiener
  • Assemblymember Phil Ting
  • Assemblymember Timothy Grayson
  • Assemblymember David Chiu

For more information about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Kirsten Vernon at This is a critical turning point for the Bay Area, for our companies, and for our state. We hope you will join us!

When: Wednesday, June 16 – Friday, June 18 from 9am – 12pm PT each day
Where: Virtual
