Xiomara supports Bay Area Council’s housing policy efforts on the local, regional and state level. Her experience includes various roles in community outreach and project management in the land use and commercial real estate industry, both in the nonprofit and private sector. Prior to joining the Council, she oversaw the public affairs program for Universal Paragon. She also worked for a tech-startup focusing on accessory dwelling units (or “casitas”) and the Urban Land Institute’s San Francisco District Council. She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from UCLA and a Master’s in Business Administration from Lorry I. Lokey School of Business at Mills College.
