Gwendolyn Litvak is Senior Vice President, Public Policy for the Bay Area Council, spearheading the Council’s transportation policy. In this work, Gwen leads the development of policy and research, and promotes programs that improve transportation in the short-term and shape the future of long-term transportation in the Bay Area. Most recently, Gwen served as the Chief of Staff for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Sustainability where she oversaw the Mayor’s goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Previously, Gwen served as a Senior Policy Adviser during the Bloomberg Administration and as a Policy Adviser for the U.S. Senate Budget Committee. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics and Public Policy and a Master’s of Urban Planning from NYU.
