Bay Area Council
Laurent Arribe is responsible for the implementation of international strategies as the Global Business Development Coordinator at the Bay Area Council. His work involves developing marketing processes and advising US companies for market entry and growth in China. He also organizes major delegations connecting business and government leaders to the region.
Previously, Laurent worked in international development as a consultant performing data analyses, literature reviews and strategy designs for social impact initiatives in a variety of organizations from the UN to Chevron. These included projects such as building climate-resilience in Moorea and creating inclusive economies in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a B.A. in International Relations and History from UC Davis and an M.S. from UC Berkeley’s Master of Development Practice. His aim is to combine his experiences from the private sector with Triangular Cooperation efforts to solve complex international challenges.
As a French-Singaporean, he loves all things food-related and, as a long-standing California resident, jumps on any opportunity to go backpacking, bouldering or to play basketball.
