Transportation & Infrastructure Focus

Mark your calendars for the Bay Area Council's next trip to our nation's capitol, with an issue emphasis on transportation and infrastructure.

Our objective is to advocate for the views of the organization regarding the next Surface Transportation Act, which will govern Federal policy and billions of dollars for years to come.

Meetings will be scheduled with key Congressional leaders and officials with the Department of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, and Energy Department.

For accommodations, we have arranged a premier venue - the historic Willard Hotel - known as the "residence of presidents." So it will be an extra special trek east as we work with the Administration and Congress to advance our region's transportation and infrastructure priorities.

To ensure maximum impact and benefit to the participants, the delegation will be limited to 20 executives.

Delegation Leaders:
Andrew Giacomini, Managing Partner, Hanson Bridgett
Michael Covarrubias, Chairman & CEO, TMG Partners
Andy Ball, President & CEO, Webcor Builders
Stuart Sunshine, Principal Consultant, Parsons Brinckerhoff

Dates: Monday, February 1, through Wednesday, February 3, 2010

Hotel: The Williard
1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington DC 20004
