Kimberly Robinson
Director of Membership

Kimberly is the Director of Membership at the Bay Area Council responsible for the managing of benefits and relationships of current members as well as the development of strategies for the acquisition of new members.   Kimberly works with the Executive Committee, Board and Strategic Development Committee in regard to both current and new member efforts.

Previously Kimberly was the Community Relations Director for Target during which time she positioned the Mervyn’s brand headquarters as a leader of the Hayward youth programs, evaluated local grant requests and partnered with Mervyn’s Local Heroes Volunteer Program to lead Hayward-based projects. During her time at Target/Mervyn’s Kimberly won six awards in relation to her work on the: Hayward, “You’ve Got a Friend in Mervyn’s Strategy”, Mervyn’s Road Scholars Program, Mervyn’s Mural Projects, Mervyn’s “Local Heroes” Reading Program, and Operation Playground programs.

Kimberly was born in Maryland and, while growing up, lived in Louisville, KY; Buffalo, NY; Florence, AL and Monterey, CA.  She got her undergraduate degree at Kent State University, Ohio, in Radio and TV with a concentration in Marketing.
